When Was Roblox Invented?
Roblox is such a major part of the gaming landscape right now that it is difficult to imagine a tile without it. However, Roblox was only an idea in development during 2004. David Baszucki and Erik Cassel were the original creators behind the project. During its development, Roblox underwent many changes. The creators considered calling the platform GoBlocks at first. In the end, Roblox was decided as the official name and the platform was fully launched on September 1st, 2006. While Roblox had a quiet start, it picked up the pace soon enough. The rise of multi-platform gaming also played a huge part in the success of Roblox. While originally the game was only introduced for Windows, it was also launched on other platforms eventually. It was first introduced for iOS in 2012 and for Android in 2014. The gaming platform even launched an Xbox version in 2016. Today, the gaming platform is home to a number of insanely popular titles like Adopt Me!, Shindo, Royale High, and Piggy. These games see millions of players each month. The best thing about Roblox is that there is something for every kind of player here. The platform has all genres of games from RPG to horror. Players can role play as school students in Royale High or solve cases in Murder Mystery 2. It all depends on a player’s preference. That is all there is to know about when Roblox was invented.
